Workkeys
Students can earn the National Career Readiness Credential by taking three WorkKeys® assessments:
- Applied Mathematics
- Locating Information
- Reading for Information
Who takes the workKeys tests?
Seniors who are completing a CTE Career Cluster have the opportunity to take these tests.
When are the tests given?
WorkKeys is given in December and February.
WHat does the test cost?
Nothing. If you have a CTE cluster, it’s free! Many employers require this test, and outside of high school, you would have to pay for it yourself.
How can I prepare for it?
It is HIGHLY advised to practice, especially Locating
Information and Applied questions. These are most often the lowest scores, and the certificate
is based on the LOWEST score of the three tests.
